Our babysitters provide short-term, occasional care for your children, designed to accommodate your specific needs and schedule. Whether it’s a night out or a few hours during the day, our trusted babysitters ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment for your children. They can help with playtime, bedtime, and reliable supervision, allowing you peace of mind while you're away. Placement fee: $35 per calendar day
Nanny
Our nanny services provide personalized, full-time, or part-time care tailored to your family’s needs. With experienced and reliable nannies, we offer consistent care that supports your child’s development and well-being. From playtime to light housekeeping, our nannies help create a nurturing environment where your children can thrive.
Placement fee: PT (< 40 hrs)- $35 per calendar day FT (>40hrs): $45 per calendar day

Meet Niya
The Heart Behind Sitterly
A proud Nantucket native with a heart for children and a deep love for her community, Niya is a creative, caring, and dedicated childcare professional who has been nurturing and supporting kids on the island for nearly a decade.
Born and raised on Nantucket, she graduated from Nantucket High School before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Human Development & Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Her passion for working with children started early and has only grown stronger over the years.
In addition to years of babysitting experience, Niya continues to support and connect with children every day. Since 2022, she has worked at the Nantucket Lighthouse School as both a Teaching Assistant and Lead Camp Counselor during their summer camp, where she’s known for creating warm, playful, and nurturing spaces where children feel safe, seen, and valued.
After recognizing the growing need for trusted, high-quality childcare on the island, Niya felt called to create something meaningful for both families and sitters. That’s when Sitterly was born, a heart-led childcare service built with care, community, and kids in mind.
With her background in child development, education, and community work, Niya brings warmth, intentionality, and genuine connection to every match. Her mission is simple: to give parents peace of mind and create a trusted space where families can find the very best care Nantucket has to offer.
